About the AssignmentWe are looking for an experienced land manager for a land and development unit within municipal operations. The role involves strengthening the unit's resources in ongoing work related to land and property issues, where you work independently and can take responsibility for all or part of the unit's regular delivery.
The assignment includes, among other things, the management of buildings and premises as well as handling agreements and negotiations related to leases, purchases, and sales of land.
Responsibilities- Manage buildings and premises related to the unit's area of responsibility.
- Drive work on the sale and lease of land.
- Establish, monitor, and follow up agreements, such as lease agreements and land allocation agreements.
- Negotiate in matters concerning the purchase and sale of land.
- Provide advice on land and development-related issues.
- Project manage initiatives and activities within the unit's assignment.
- Continuously coordinate with clients regarding priorities, tasks, and planning.
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Degree as a university-educated land surveyor, land management engineer, or civil engineer with relevant specialization, or other education deemed equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience as a land manager or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in land management and good knowledge of relevant legislation, such as the Land Code, Planning and Building Act, Property Formation Act, Construction Act, and the Public Procurement Act.
- Extensive experience in project management.
- Ability to work independently and in an organized manner.
- Solution-oriented and innovative approach.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good collaboration skills in contact with different professional groups.
- Ability to use distance-bridging technology when needed.
- Ability to follow relevant internal policies and strategies when required by the assignment.
- Experience negotiating and establishing agreements in leases and/or purchases and sales of land.
- Experience in managing buildings and/or premises.
